UWA Smart Start is a university preparation course for anyone who didn't complete Year 12, didn't get the minimum ATAR for their chosen course or hasn't studied for a while.  

Please note that UWA Smart Start is only available at the Albany campus (not Perth).  

Smart Start key features: 

• A course delivered over 14 weeks full-time (or equivalent) 

• No fees or charges, this course is free 

• Entry into a first-year bachelor's degree at Albany campus upon successful completion 

• A supportive study environment 

• Contemporary coursework that provided an excellent foundation for university and lifelong learning
